ENERGIZE! has a wide range of activities that will help keep you fit such as Zumba, circuit workouts, dodgeball, and recreational games and sports!
How the program works: ENERGIZE! is taught collaboratively by dedicated WakeMed registered dietitians, clinicians, and community fitness partners. A team of board-certified pediatricians with expertise in childhood weight management use a personalized family based approach to aid children in achieving a healthy weight and life-long wellness. The clinic’s service includes medical management, nutrition counseling, behavioral counseling, and personal training. In addition, teenagers who are at high risk for health complications can receive more intensive weight management options such as calorie counting, meal replacements, weight loss medications, and bariatric surgery. Most families follow up monthly with our team.
